Bradford Cat Rescue/Feral Population Control Efforts

Help us make a difference to the cats of Bradford, VT

For years now we have had an occasional litter of kittens coming our way from Bradford, VT. We knew there was a feral cat issue in the town, however, until recently we had NO idea how big that problem really was. There are three major bands of cats in the town that have been breeding and increasing in numbers at an alarming rate.

Many kittens and cats get run over in the streets each week or die quietly in a corner from hunger, parasites and sickness. SAP Rescue has taken on the task of making this town's cats our problem and we need a lot of help to fix the issues. We have begun to spay and neuter these cats and have started to place those that are friendly and healthy.

We took in over 25 cats our first month on the job and are working towards the next load. Many of these animals are friendly, and after some good food and flea treatment will make fantastic family pets. Others will make great barn cats too. If you can help us in any way we would love to have your assistance, no matter how small. We need money for vet services, food for the feeding stations and most of all loving forever or temporary foster homes to make a difference. There are hundreds of local animals in need.
