Brewster is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. You may look at his photo and think he looks a little rough around the edges. You wouldn't be far from the truth.

Brewster arrived in VT the end of February and was scared to death. He and his two siblings had spent the first 5 months of their life living in a back yard in Virginia with very little exposure to people or new things. He depended on his sister for everything and had a really hard time with her leaving to go to her new home.

Brewster is just a mere 7 months old and incredibly loving, sweet and devoted when he knows he can trust you. However until he knows who you are he is scared and paces and seeks cover out of fear. This little guy had to go through several months of treatment for Puppy Mange a non transmittable condition that causes hair loss and skin infection). During this time he lost a lot of his hair and due to the extent of the condition may not ever totally regrow his hair in the effected spots even though cured from the condition.

He has come a long ways in two weeks, and is getting much better about new people coming near him. But Brewster will need continued commitment to getting him socialized. He was neutered this week and is up to date on everything. All Brewster needs now is the perfect home, one that will offer him patience and love while he grows to understand what the big world is all about. Do you have the time and kindness that this loving pup needs? He will repay you with a life time of love for the opportunity. Please contact us to find out more about this fantastic boy. 802-457-4017 days 802-457-2608 night. It was held in Bradford VT and it was a very chilly day! Thanks to the folks that turned out to ride for SAP Rescue and The Bradford Fairgrounds.

Sonja would also like to thank Chris, Ed and Mary Wood, three siblings who braved the elements to ride in to support SAP Rescue. For Mary that meant a long ride from Tilton NH & for Chris from Plymouth, NH in 20 degree weather on their bikes Sunday morning. Ed Wood is an avid SAP supporter and has a SAP cat that he helped to rescue in 2007 from a parking lot in Bradford, VT. Thank You Ed for all your support and help and getting your sisters to help ride for the cause.

And thank you Melissa, Alex and Renn for standing out in the cold and supporting SAP Rescue Sunday morning. Renn was a perfect representative of our adoptable dogs from the Save A Pet Program. Enjoy the photos...

View Album
Get your own

SAP Rescuehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11170746749032220023noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6884597453790334770.post-35235032528130514702008-10-15T18:39:00.000-07:002008-10-16T10:13:46.938-07:00OCTOBER DOGS and PUPPIES!We're experimenting with a new format to share photos. If you’re looking for a way to transform your relationship with your dog into one that’s truly based on trust, as well as love, come take a look at the Natural Dog Training Method.

Neil Sattin is the author of NaturalDogBlog.com, the most complete online reference for Natural Dog Training. He apprenticed with Kevin Behan (the creator of Natural Dog Training) in the summer of 2004, and has since helped many dogs and owners reach a new level of human-canine understanding. In particular, he loves watching people “get it” – the moment when they can see the world through their dog’s eyes, and the transformations in their dog’s behavior that typically follow. Neil resides in Portland, Maine, with his wife and son.

We have space for 10 dog and handler teams, and unlimited space for attendees without dogs.
